Proverbs 19:5-7

⁵ A ^[a](A)false witness will not go unpunished,
And he who ^(B)breathes out lies will not escape.
^6 (C)Many will seek the favor of a noble man,
And everyone is a friend to a man who ^(D)gives gifts.
⁷ All the brothers of a poor man hate him;
How much more do his ^(E)friends distance themselves from him!
He ^(F)pursues them with words, but they are no more.
